So Something Remote got its first festival response back:

Cinequest Film Festival (San Jose, CA) - Rejected

To be fair, this is the same film festival that, three years ago, housed Thank You For Smoking. Over 2,000 entries this year. Oh well, 11 more to go!

Something Remote went PHENOMENALLY.  We had over 200 people come out to Millbury to see it, and they loved it.  Big laughs all around.  It feels unreal in the aftermath, but man, those 11-hour days in the middle of summer were so goddamn worth it it's unbelieveable.

I am going to grenade the third floor. There was psychotic yelling going on for HOURS above me and outside my damn door (for the unaware: I have a door into the livingroom and a door into the stairwell).
